Cookie Policy

This policy explains the cookies and similar browser storage used on photocolorbook.com ("Photo Color Book", "we", "us"). It is part of our Privacy Policy. Questions: support@photocolorbook.com.

Your choice

When you first visit, a banner asks whether you accept analytics cookies. Essential cookies are always on because the site cannot work without them. Analytics and attribution cookies are set only after you choose Accept All. You can change your choice at any time with Cookie Settings in the footer.

Essential cookies

These keep the service working and secure. They are not used for advertising.

• better-auth.session_token and related better-auth.* cookies (until you sign out, or up to the session lifetime): Keep you signed in, and protect sign-in with Google.
• pcb_guest (1 year): A random ID that remembers your free guest page and lets you download it again.
• cookie_consent (1 year): Remembers whether you accepted or rejected analytics cookies.
• sidebar_state (7 days): Remembers whether the account or admin sidebar is open.

Cloudflare, which hosts the site and runs the Turnstile check that guest requests come from a person, may also set strictly necessary security cookies.

Analytics and attribution cookies (only with your consent)

• _ga, _ga_<ID> (up to 2 years): Google Analytics 4: counts visits and how pages are used.
• utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_term, utm_content (30 days): Remember which link brought you here, so we can see which channels work.
• first_referrer (30 days): Remembers the website you came from on your first visit.

Until you choose Accept All, the Google Analytics script is not loaded at all, so nothing is sent to Google and no analytics cookies are set. We also count anonymous page events on our own servers without cookies or personal identifiers.

Browser storage

Some settings are kept in your browser's local storage instead of cookies. They never leave your device unless you use the feature they belong to.

• theme: Your light or dark mode choice.
• pcb-book-queue: Pages you sent to the coloring book, until you open it.

How to control cookies

Use Cookie Settings in the footer to accept or reject analytics cookies. You can also delete cookies in your browser settings; if you delete essential cookies, you will be signed out and the site may forget your free guest page.

Changes

We update this policy when the cookies we use change. The date at the top shows the latest version.
