Privacy Policy
How Photo Color Book handles your photos, account and payment information.
Last updated: 2026-10-30
This policy explains what photocolorbook.com ("Photo Color Book", "we") collects, why, and who it is shared with. Questions or deletion requests: support@photocolorbook.com.
What we collect
- Photos you upload and the pages created from them. A photo is kept in private storage only while its page is being made and is deleted automatically as soon as the page is finished or the attempt fails. Finished pages are stored privately and shown only to the account, or the guest browser, that created them. Neither is ever published in a gallery or used to train AI models by us.
- Account information. Your email address and name, and your Google profile name and picture if you sign in with Google.
- Credits and orders. Your credit balance, the packs you bought and the pages you created.
- Guest limit data. To keep the free page to one per visitor, we set a cookie with a random ID and store a hashed (one-way, salted) version of that ID and of your IP address. We do not store your raw IP address for this purpose.
- Technical data. Standard server logs and, if you accept analytics cookies, usage analytics.
Who processes your data
We use these providers to run the service:
- SeeAPI checks each uploaded photo for content we don't allow (for example sexual material) before a page is made. It reads the photo through a link that expires within five minutes, and our copy for the check is deleted as soon as it ends.
- fal.ai and OpenRouter (which routes to Google's Gemini models) receive your photo to create the page.
- Cloudflare hosts the site, stores files and runs Turnstile, which checks that guest requests come from a person.
- Stripe processes payments. We never receive your full card details.
- Google handles sign-in if you choose Sign in with Google.
Each provider processes data under its own terms and privacy policy.
How long we keep data
Uploaded photos are deleted automatically once their page is finished. Finished pages are kept so you can download them again until you delete them: signed-in users can delete any page under My pages, and the page and its file are removed right away. You can also ask us to delete your pages or your whole account at any time by emailing us, and we will do so within 30 days. Order records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require.
Cookies
We use cookies to keep you signed in, to remember your free guest page, to remember your theme, and, only if you agree, for analytics. You can change cookie choices at any time from the link in the footer. The Cookie Policy lists every cookie we use and how long it lasts.
Children
The service is meant to be used by adults, including parents and teachers making pages for children. Children should not create accounts.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your data, and to object to some processing. Email us and we will respond within 30 days.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
